Paris Police responded to a theft of a vehicle in the 1300 block of NW Loop 286 at 9:41 A.M. on April 27, 2022. The victim reported that someone has stolen their 2021 Sunsetcamper trailer. The trailer was stolen sometime after April 2, 2022. The investigation continues.
Paris Police responded to a criminal trespass in the 10 block of SE 19th St at 10:56 A.M. on April 27, 2022. The complainant reported that they came to the residence to clean it out because it was supposed to be vacant. The victim advised that someone was sleeping in one of the bedrooms. Officers made contact with 25 year old Tyler Lee Trammel and placed him under arrest for criminal trespassing. Trammel was found to be in possession of 115 grams of synthetic marijuana. Trammel was additionally charged with manufacture or delivery of a controlled substance, which is a first degree felony. Trammel was later transferred to the Lamar County Jail.
Paris Police stopped a vehicle in the 2500 block of N Main St at 9:43 P.M. on April 27, 2022 for speeding. The driver, 21 year old Elvira Alejandra Infante, of Paris, was found to have an outstanding felony warrant charging her with burglary of a habitation. Infante was arrested and later transferred to the Lamar County Jail.
Paris Police stopped a vehicle in the 2100 block of E Price St for speeding at 2:07 A.M. on April 28, 2022. During the investigation, the officer smelled the odor of marijuana emitting from the vehicle. The passenger, 18 year old Devin Deontre Gill, of Paris, was found to be in possession of marijuana. During the search of the vehicle, officers located a handgun under the passenger seat that was found to have been reported stolen in Oklahoma. Gill was arrested and charged with theft of a firearm and unlawful carrying a weapon. Gill was later placed in the Lamar County Jail.
Paris Police stopped a vehicle for displaying an expired registration in the 1700 block of NE Loop 286 at 4:18 A.M. on April 28, 2022. The driver, 47 year old Anthony Dean Cabler, of Paris, was found to be in possession of marijuana and more than 1 gram of methamphetamine. Cabler was arrested and is awaiting transfer to the Lamar County Jail.
