On Apr. 20, Officers were dispatched to the 700 block of NE 34 in regards to a Burglary of Residence. The complainant advised that Jakarius Laryan Fulbright (18) an ex boyfriend, had forced himself into her residence and had held her against the wall, keeping her from exiting the residence. When the victim threatened to call police, Fulbright had taken her phone and refused to return it. Suspect made threats to the victim, who finally got a chance to leave the property. The victim went to a relatives home and called police. The victim’s phone was traced to an address in the 1900 block of E. Booth. Officers located Fulbright at the Booth address. He claimed he had already had a friend to return the victim’s phone to her residence. The phone was located at the victim’s residence where it had been left on the porch by an unknown female. Fulbright was arrested for Burglary of Habitation and Theft From a Person, both felony charges. He was booked and transported to county jail. An Emergency Protective Order was requested by the victim.
