On Monday, August 6th, while investigating an aggravated sexual assault of a child case that had been reported on July 15th, Officers made contact with 27-year-old Kory Battiest.
“Based on statements and admissions made by Battiest, he was placed under arrest and charged with aggravated sexual assault of a child,” said Lt. John Berry.

Around 2 p.m. Monday afternoon, Officers made contact with 27-year-old Audumn Strickland in the 600 block of E Polk in regards to a warrant arrest.
Strickland was placed under arrest for two misdemeanor warrants.
Contact was also made with 33-year-old Joshua Roberts who was found to have an outstanding parole violation warrant and was placed under arrest.
“Strickland and Roberts were found to be in possession of over a gram of methamphetamine and a small amount of marijuana,” said Berry.
Strickland and Roberts were also charged with possession of a controlled substance and another misdemeanor charge.
