Paris Police arrested a suspect who crawled out of a third-story window in the 3200 block of N.E. Loop 286 early Wednesday morning.
Rhyan Shane Johnson, 31 years old, of Blossom, was arrested on two felony probation violations warrants.
According to officials, officers received a Crime Stoppers TIP advising of Johnson’s location.
“As the officers attempted to make contact with Johnson, he crawled out of the third-story window and was hanging on to the window ledge, attempting to hide from the officers,” said Paris Police Department’s Informations Officer Curtis Garrett. “Johnson was eventually assisted in re-entering the window and was arrested on two felony probation violation warrants.”
Johnson’s probation stemmed from two convictions of possession of a controlled substance of more than 1 gram but less than 4 grams.
Johnson was later transferred to the Lamar County Jail.
