The Paris Police Department is seeking the public’s assistance in identifying the individuals in the photos below.
On April 10th, around 1:27 PM, a victim was pushing her shopping cart to her car when a suspect grabbed the victim’s purse from the shopping cart on the Walmart Parking lot here in Paris. The suspect ran toward a waiting vehicle. A bystander driving through the parking lot witnessed the theft and stopped his vehicle and gave chase.
That witness described the suspect as a Hispanic female, heavy set with black frizzy hair with some type of tattoo on her chest. The witness grabbed the door of the vehicle the suspect entered and during that scuffle the suspect was able to close the door. The vehicle drove off striking a parked vehicle causing damage. The photos below are of who we think are the suspects and the vehicle that drove off.
