Paris Junior High School’s National Junior Honor Society and Student Council teamed up this holiday season to make a meaningful impact in the community. As part of their Christmas service project, students collected mittens and winter hats for three and four-year-old children in Lamar County.
Through the collaborative effort, students gathered more than 220 mittens and 170 winter hats, which were donated to T.G. Givens and Lamar County Head Start programs. The donations will help keep young children warm during the winter months.
This project highlights Paris Junior High students’ commitment to service, leadership, and giving back to their community, especially during the holiday season.
