Paris Junior High proudly welcomed 81 outstanding students into the National Junior Honor Society during an induction ceremony held on Sunday, April 26.
The National Junior Honor Society recognizes middle school students who demonstrate excellence in scholarship, leadership, service, character, and citizenship. Membership is one of the highest honors a junior high student can achieve.
To be considered for induction, students must maintain a minimum grade point average of 89.5 in all core academic subjects, reflecting a strong commitment to academic excellence.
The ceremony celebrated not only the academic achievements of these students but also their dedication to being positive leaders and role models within Paris Junior High and the greater Wildcat community. Family members, faculty, and administrators gathered to honor the inductees and recognize their hard work and perseverance.
“These students have demonstrated a commitment to excellence both inside and outside the classroom,” said Paris Junior High principal Kristi Callihan. “We are proud of their accomplishments and look forward to the impact they will continue to make at Paris Junior High.”
Paris ISD congratulates all 81 inductees on this outstanding achievement and encourages them to continue striving for excellence as members of the National Junior Honor Society.
