Does this Paris High School Yearbook Cover look familiar? If so (and this was your graduating year yearbook), mark your calendar for your 45th-year Reunion Weekend.
The date has been set for Paris High School’s 45-year reunion for the class of 1973 and organizers and seeking address for classmates.
The event will be held on Saturday, October 13th, at Drake’s Party Barn from 7 p.m. to 11 p.m.
Class members have been working to identify good addresses on the 300 members class and have been successful in reaching the majority.
The reunion weekend will feature a PHS football game on Friday night, the main event Saturday evening, and a memorial service at PJC’s DeShong Drive Sunday morning at which time those classmates who have passed away over the last 45-years will be honored. The community, former teachers, and friends are welcomed to join the class for the memorial service which will be conducted by members of the class.
However, there are still almost 30 classmates who have moved or lost contact with the class and the planning committee would like to include them in the event.
Reunion co-chair, Derald Bulls, noted, “Through the year, we have been able to stay in touch with the majority of our classmates and the use of social media, we have been able to track down many who may have left Paris after graduation or whose families relocated to another city. However, we would welcome friends and family to help us fund and make contact with those still missing.”
The class is looking for information on how to contact Frank Bartlett, Benny Boyd, Stephen Bradshaw, Bob Breit, Delores Burns, Barbara Burton, Estella Chisum, Jo Ann Clements, Perry Cox, Mary Dunkins, Mary Feldhaus Melton, Jerry Fields, Sandra Fletcher, Charles Flowers, Mary Minor Flowers, Nita Forthman, Glenda Fulbright, Curtis Fuller, Ronald Graves, Bonita Hanks, Loretta Hendricks and Paula Holton.
“In some cases, the last known address returned the mailing or the email we had on record bounced,” added Bulls.
Other unaccounted for include James Keane, Aaron King, Rick Lohrey, Cathy McAllister, Paul McDonald, Cindy Meyer, Vanessa Mickens, Wilma Mims, Billy Mitchell, Elz Moore, Deborah Nance Blackwell, Carolyn Owens, Rick Peel, Daniel Presley, Ronald Rodgers, Shirley Sanford, Christiane Stapp, Vivian Watson, Zetta Williams, Terry Womack and Kenny Young.
