Members of the Paris EMS team, together with Dr. Bertrand, provided a lecture and hands-on in-service training to its paramedics on Monday as they prepare to introduce pre-hospital blood product administration.
“Being able to give blood in the field can be critical for patients experiencing severe blood loss and hemorrhagic shock – providing a treatment that has traditionally only been available after reaching the hospital.”
Paris EMS said its goal is simple — bring advanced, lifesaving care to our patients as quickly as possible.
