The rumors are true and it’s not an April Fools joke.
Paris Coffee Co. will open the doors at its new location in downtown Paris next week — an announcement local coffee lovers have long-awaited for.
“It’s always been a dream for us and now was just the right time to expand and come downtown,” said owner Steve Martin.
The family-owned business, who celebrates its 20th anniversary next year, was the dream of Steve and Marsha Martin, who opened its flagship store at 201 N Collegiate Drive, in 2005.
Since then, the beloved coffee store has expanded with a kiosk at Paris Regional Health and a mobile-trailer and now, have announced it’s two newest stores — in downtown Paris and at Home2 Suites by Hilton and Paris Conference & Events Center located at 3143 NE Loop 286.
Daughters, Alex Annett and Alicia Moore, and “bonus daughter” Robynn Daniels, have been managing the shop alongside Steve and Marsha since the beginning.
“Our new downtown location is a much bigger space that gives us a new atmosphere for people to hang with friends, hold Bible studies, work, etc.,” said Annett. “We’re excited to be able to expand our service to the downtown area and further build the Paris Coffee family to being a positive influence in the community.”
Paris Coffee Downtown will offer all the same drinks, baked good, sandwiches, etc. as its flagship location, as well as its gift shop items.
Paris Coffee Downtown will be open Monday through Saturday from 7 a.m. to 2 p.m. at 111 Lamar Avenue in Paris.
