The Paris City Council is accepting applications from registered voters who live in the City of Paris to serve on the Planning and Zoning Commission. One applicant will be selected to complete an unexpired term resulting from a resignation.
The Planning and Zoning Commission reviews requests by property owners for zoning changes inside the city limits of Paris and makes recommendations to the City Council for the approval or disapproval of those requests. Members must be citizens of the City of Paris, taxpayers, and qualified voters.
Applications are available online at www.ParisTexas.gov/Boards or from the City Clerk’s Office at 150 S.E. 1st Street.
Applications must be received by noon, Wednesday, October 30, to be considered during this appointment period.
