North Lamar Intermediate recently hosted a Parent and Family Engagement event, Vision 4 Success, where students and their families came together to focus on the upcoming school year.
During the event, participants created Vision Boards as a way to set personal and academic goals, explore new opportunities, and stay motivated throughout the year. The activity encouraged families to collaborate and discuss aspirations—whether it be trying new activities, focusing on academics, or building healthy habits—while strengthening the school-to-home partnership.
“Vision For Success gives families a chance to dream big with their children while also providing practical steps toward achieving those goals,” said Parent Family Engagement Director, Melissa Allen. “It’s inspiring to see students and parents working side by side, laying the foundation for a successful school year.”
North Lamar ISD continues to prioritize Parent and Family Engagement as an essential part of student achievement. Events like Vision For Success are designed to not only encourage student growth but also to empower families with tools and strategies to support their children’s learning journey.
