North Lamar Intermediate School recently announced its newly elected officers and board members for the National Elementary Honor Society (NEHS) for the 2024-2025 school year. Under the guidance of sponsor Amanda Little, these students have taken on leadership roles and are already engaging in service-oriented projects that give back to the community.
The 2024-2025 NEHS officers are:
- President: Casen Sheridan
- Vice President: Molly Snow
- Treasurer: Lauren London
- Secretary: Makinley Moreland
- Marketing Director: Kamber Urquart
- Reporter: Mally Freelen
In addition, the newly selected board members include:
- Addylynn Little

The NEHS is currently working on two service projects aimed at supporting those in need. The first project is a stuffing drive for the local food pantry, which will provide essential holiday meal items for families in the community. The second initiative, Operation Christmas Child, involves collecting and packing gift-filled shoeboxes to send to children around the world.
Through these projects, North Lamar Intermediate NEHS members are learning the importance of leadership and community service, setting a positive example for their peers and making a meaningful impact both locally and globally.
