North Lamar High School is proud to announce that 15 students have earned AP Scholar Awards from the College Board for their outstanding performance on Advanced Placement Exams.
The AP Scholar Awards recognize high school students who have demonstrated exemplary college-level achievement through their performance on AP Exams. These academic distinctions may be included among students’ credentials on college applications and résumés.
Students receiving the AP Scholar designation earned scores of 3 or higher on three or more AP Exams. North Lamar students earning this recognition are Addison J. Barber, Alexis F. Daniels, Jason D. Dillen, Agatha H. Klassen, Emmah G. Klingler, Ava McMonigle, Hayden W. Prescott, Wiley S. Quillen, Landry L. Spencer and William W. Trenchard.
The AP Scholar with Honor designation is awarded to students who earned an average score of at least 3.25 on all AP Exams taken and scores of 3 or higher on four or more of those exams. Kelsey D. Jackson, Taylor B. Nutt, James N. Spencer and Olivia G. Thomas earned this distinction.
Colston Fendley was named an AP Scholar with Distinction, an honor awarded to students who earned an average score of at least 3.5 on all AP Exams taken and scores of 3 or higher on five or more exams.
North Lamar ISD congratulates these students on their hard work, dedication and exceptional academic achievement. Their success reflects a strong commitment to challenging themselves through college-level coursework and makes the entire Panther community proud.
