Nina B. Welch Campbell, 95, of Paris, passed away Monday, May 18, 2020, in Bonham.
Bright-Holland Funeral Home has scheduled graveside services for 2:00 p.m. Saturday, May 23rd, at the Garden of Memories Cemetery in Ben Franklin with Bob Palmer officiating. Mrs. Campbell will lie in repose until noon Saturday for those wishing to view and sign her register.
Mrs. Campbell, the daughter of James & Odessa Bramblett Branch, was born June 24, 1924, in Ben Franklin.
She worked for Drilling & Service, a company that invented the first diamond drill bit. Later she worked for Brown Arrow Aviation which was located at the Addison Airport. Nina had been a member of the Abrams Road Church of Christ which became Richardson East Church of Christ. She had been active at College Church of Christ in Paris and was currently a member of Northside Church of Christ in Bonham. Through her churches she found a passion for prison ministry. She was a proud member of the Republican Party.
Mrs. Campbell was preceded in death by her first husband, Richard Welch in 1977, and by her second husband, F. J. Campbell in 2007, a great grandchild, Eden Welch, and six siblings; Lillian, Raymond, Pauline, Ernie, Howard, and James.
Survivors include her son, Rowland Welch & wife Mary of Bonham, grandchildren; Jessica Kaiser & husband Chris, Russell Welch, Rebecca Welch, Richard Welch & wife Megan, and Rachel Welch & husband Tyler, nine great grandchildren along with numerous nieces & nephews and a host of friends.
