POSTPONED DUE TO WEATHER – NEW DATE – May 20, 2023
To honor local heroes who have lost their lives in the line of duty, Lamar County Adopt-A-Cop will host its annual Lamar County Police Memorial Walk on May 13 at Reno Kiwanis Park at 9 a.m.
Michelle Widner, wife of Paris Police Detective Chris Widner who passed away in the line of duty on August 22, 2021, will be the guest speaker.
The event which launches National Police Week 2023, will be a 1 1/2 mile walk (3 laps total) at Reno Kiwanis Park, 6810 Pine Mill Road in Reno, Texas.
