Reno city officials and residents celebrated the grand opening and ribbon cutting of its new All-Inclusive Playground at Reno Kiwanis Park on Saturday.
“The playground represents more than swings and slides — it’s a space where every child can play, laugh, and grow together,” said Reno Parks and Trail Committee.”
“The Reno Parks and Trail Committee, past and present, for championing this vision from the very start, our incredible city staff who worked tirelessly to bring the plans to life, the Reno City Council, whose leadership and support made this project possible.”
Charles Edwards of GrantWorks, Tyler Creamer, Kevin Whitley and Hayter Engineering, and Texas Parks and Wildlife, all contributed with their dedication and expertise.
“And, of course, our community — your generosity, encouragement, and excitement have been the heartbeat of this project. This playground belongs to all of us. Seeing the smiles, laughter, and joy as the first children played on Saturday reminded us why this matters so much. From the bottom of our hearts, thank you. Together, we’ve created something truly special for generations to come.”
Reno’s All-Inclusive Playground is located at the Reno Kiwanis Park, 6820 Pine Mill Road, Reno, Texas.
