The Lamar County Democratic Party invites the community to attend its upcoming monthly meeting to meet two Democratic candidates running in the upcoming elections.
The event is being held on Apr. 15 at 5:30 p.m. at 1490 Fitzhugh Avenue in Paris.
The two Democrat candidates running are:
Sean Huffman, Democratic candidate for Texas House District 1
Tony Adams, Democratic candidate for U.S. Congress
Both candidates will speak about their campaigns, share their visions for the future, and take time to meet with attendees and answer questions.
Jenny Wilson, director of United Way of Lamar County, will also speak about the many local non-profits needs, met and unmet, and the impact of recent job and funding cuts.
“This is your chance to get informed, get involved, and connect with fellow Democrats and community members who are passionate about making a difference.”
