Mathews Auto Group recognized two North Lamar ISD teachers as part of their ‘Pay It Forward’ program, highlighting those who go above and beyond to make a lasting impact.

Boyden is a passionate, dedicated, and hardworking educator who goes above and beyond to create a fun, engaging, and supportive environment for her students.
Her love for teaching math and science is evident in her tireless efforts to differentiate instruction. foster lasting relationships, and inspire students to excel, especially through the science fair, where she invests endless hours helping students prepare with confidence and accountability.
Akard, a new addition to Frank Stone this year, has faced challenges head-on with unwavering dedication, supporting students, staff, and teams in countless ways. From bonding with students in the halls and assisting those in need, to working on his day off, supporting school events, and even going out in the rain to air up a tire, Jeff exemplifies selflessness and a genuine commitment to the school community.
