Marian A. “Micky” Krumenacker, 77 of Sumner, went home to be with her Lord and Savior on Monday, April 6, 2026.
Cremation arrangements are under the direction of Fry-Gibbs Funeral Home. A private family gathering will be held on a later date.
She was born on August 5, 1948 in Dodge City, Kansas to Michael J. and Marion C. Hendrickson Swartz. She and Robert “Bob” Krumenacker were married August 10th, 1968 at the little non-denominational chapel in Fort Dodge, Kansas and stayed in Kansas the first 8 years plus of their marriage. Everyone that knew her, knew how talented she was and knew how much she loved to crochet. Many of them received some of her crocheted items throughout the years. She was family oriented and loved her family very much. She loved being a wife and mother, and was good at it. She loved nurturing life, whether it be babies, animals or plants. After her children were grown, she continued to be a mom, taking care of and raising many children in the day cares she worked at.
She is survived by her 2 sons, Robert M. Krumenacker of Blackfoot, ID and William R. Krumenacker of Paris, TX; 1 daughter, Lorlyn Danae Halliday and spouse Richard; grandsons, Brandon Halliday of Paris & Dylan Halliday of Chicago; also Alec Ryan Krumenacker; brother, Michael C. Swartz. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband; and infant sister, Helen Adell Swartz.
