Police arrested a Hugo, Oklahoma, man Monday after a 62-year-old woman reported she had been given what she described as “bad” narcotics (marijuana).
Officers responded to the 3500 block of Ruby Way and spoke to the victim who advised she had been given some marijuana by the suspect, Evan Dale Zumbrunnen.
The victim advised that after using the marijuana she began having a medical episode, not common with the use of marijuana.
Officers, who were familiar with the complainant, advised that the she appeared to be frantic and was obviously under the influence of some drug.
Officers interviewed Zumbrunnen, who admitted to being a felon while also having drug paraphernalia and a handgun inside his vehicle.
Zumbrunnen was detained and the vehicle was searched where officers located a handgun as well as methamphetamine.
Zumbrunnen was arrested and charged with Felon in Possession of Firearm, Possession of a Controlled Substance, and Possession of Marijuana under 2 ounces.
