This year’s Mad Max Mud Run will be at a new location with new obstacles, according to event organizers who are excited to host the run once again.
The one-day, 10+ obstacles will feature a military-style obstacle course, designed “to challenge even the best.”

The 5K and 10K Obstacle Race Mad Max Mud Run benefiting Lamar County 4-H and the Family and Community Health programs is set to take off on April 23 at 9 a.m.
Set for Pat Mayse East Campground in Powderly, registration for the Mad Max Mud Run is open until April 23 for those aged 14 and up. Kids younger than 14 can take part in a free, inflatable obstacle course with paid participants. Cost to participate is $55 per person.

Packet pick-up will be available Friday, April 22 at the Lamar County Extension office, 4315 Bonham St., Suite A, Paris, 75460 from 4-6 p.m. or packets can be picked up race day.
