The local chapter of Turning Point USA will host a meeting at the Lamar County Courthouse on Oct. 30, open to all high school students.
Turning Point USA is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization founded in 2012 by Charlie Kirk.
The organization’s mission is to identify, educate, train, and organize students to promote the principles of fiscal responsibility, free markets, and limited government. This is a non-partisan organization that wants to empower students with principles of faith, freedom, and love of country.
“Our mission at this meeting is to identify, educate, train, and organize students to promote the principles of freedom, free markets, and limited government. Non-partisan group empowering students,” said Collin Bell, local chapter president.
Pizza will be provided and Ben Franklin will be making an appearance.
