It is time to dust off those running shoes and gear up for United Way of Lamar County’s Live United 5K as the organization has announced its annual run/walk set for Saturday, May 8 at 8 a.m. at the Trail de Paris’ entrance near Love Civic Center, 2025 Collegiate Dr.
Pre-registration for the Live United 5K Run/Walk is $25 and $10 for students. The pre-registration fee includes a race T-shirt.

Registration is also available at United Way’s office, 2340 Lamar Ave., or race day.
Children already participating in the Kids Marathon will run for free during the 5K.
The day-of registration fee is $35 and begins at 7:30 a.m.
