Linda was born on June 14th of 1950 to J.B. and Juanita McCoy Foreman. She was called home by our Lord and Savior on January 18th of 2023. She married Joel Peace on March the 24th of 1979.
She attended Powderly schools and later attended PJC where she studied Postal Management. She retired from the US Postal Service. Most of her carrier was spent as rural carrier in Powderly, Texas. She loved the outdoors. She and Joel fished bass tournaments together. She was featured in a story for Honey Hole Magazine after winning a tournament. She worked beside him feeding cows and building fences on the ranch. She was a gifted gardener that could make any plant flourish.
She was preceded in death by her parents, a son Prentiss (Pete) Renfro, a sister Mildred Marie Foreman, a brother Gus Foreman, and Father and Mother in law James (Bud) and Louise Peace.
She is survived by her husband, sister Betty Ward, brother James (wife Linda) Foreman, a daughter Julie Renfro Norris, sons Michael (wife Shanna)Peace and Mark Peace; brother-in-law Richard (wife Connelle, sister-in law Sandra Smallwood; grandchildren Mallory Miller, Rachel Peace, Kallie( husband Sheldon) Norred, Lindy (Partner Sandra) Barajas-Norris, and Jonathan Peace and great-grandchildren Ben Flournoy, Maeve Barajas-Norris, and the light of her life twins Nate and Joel Miller.
Funeral services will be conducted at 1:00 PM Saturday at the Fry-Gibbs Funeral Chapel. Visitation will be one hour prior to service at Noon Saturday. Interment will be in the Providence Cemetery. Online condolences may be sent to the family by visiting www.fry-gibbs.com.
