Most of the kids at Slayter Creek Park’s skate park in Anna, Texas probably thought he was just someone’s cool dad on a board—turns out, it was Tony Hawk dropping in for a casual “morning workout.”
The skateboarding icon shared a reel to Facebook with the caption,“Morning workout where the stars at night are bg and bright… and can cause wheelbite.”
According to reports, Hawk’s visit to Anna, Texas on Tuesday wasn’t planned but rather he knew someone involved in building the park and promised he’d stop by if he was ever in the area.
Hawk is a legendary pro skateboarder known for landing the first 900 and making skateboarding mainstream. He became famous in the ’90s, launched the hit video game “Tony Hawk’s Prop Skater,” and is still shredding up the parks.
