Lamar County Humane Association is hosting a Low-Cost spay/neuter, vaccine and microchip clinic on Saturday from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.
As the spay/neuter vouchers are open to Lamar County residents only, residents are required to bring proof of residency to purchase vouchers. It is limited to two spay/neuter vouchers per household and vets may require proof of rabies vaccine to redeem the voucher. The LCHA recommends contacting the vet to verify participation in the SNiP voucher program.
The vaccine and microchip clinic is open to anyone.
Pricing for the SNiP clinic are as follows:
- Spay/neuter vouchers, $30
- Microchipping, $10
- Rabies, $8
- 5-way/7-way dogs, $15
- Bordatella, $15
- FVRCP, $10
- FVRCP with leukemia, $24
The SNiP clinic will be at Lamar County Fairgrounds inside the coliseum building at 570 E. Center Street.
