The Texas Commission on Jail Standards conducted a limited compliance review of the Lamar County Jail on Feb. 17, 2026.
“Thanks to the hard work and dedication of our jail staff and administration, the Lamar County Jail remains fully compliant,” said Sheriff Scott Cass. “We are fortunate to have such hardworking, dedicated, and caring staff running the jail. Well done.”
