Due to the lack of lanes and hotel rooms, the ASA Archery’s has decided to move its ASA Pro/AM to a new site starting 2022.
“We had over 1,700 archers show up this year, and with rain it, it was a difficult challenge for them to get everything in,” Lamar County Chamber President Paul Allen said about ASA Archery’s. “It’s very disappointing because our community benefited from this event – hotels, restaurants, and other retailers.”
However, Allen said the ASA Archery will show back up in Paris for smaller-scale events.
In January, the chamber is going to work with ASA Archery to host an indoor shoot. In May, the ASA Archery will return for the Southwest Shootout, which will be a regional shoot open to all ASA members.
