Kathy Lynn (Rhodes) Clemmer, 61, of Blossom, passed away Thursday, December 12, 2024, at her home.
Services are scheduled for 12:00 p.m. Monday, Dec. 16th at Bright-Holland Funeral Home with Rev. Mike Fortenberry officiating. Burial will follow in East Post Oak Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the funeral home one hour prior to the service.
Kathy, the daughter of Benny Don Rhodes and Bettie Hill Rhodes, was born Jan. 10, 1963, in Greenville, TX. She graduated from Paris High School in 1981. For a number of years, she worked in interior design for Reep’s Furniture. Kathy later owned and operated Affordable Window Fashions, an interior design and custom window treatment business, for more than 20 years. She was a person of great faith, a devoted Christian, and a member of East Paris Baptist Church. Kathy’s greatest joy in life was being a mother to her two boys.
She was preceded in death by her father, Benny Don Rhodes, and a brother, Bryan Rhodes.
Survivors include her husband, Brian Clemmer, whom she married on Feb. 5, 1982, building 42 years of family and memories, two sons, Colton Clemmer and Clay Clemmer, her mother, Bettie Rhodes, a brother, Brad Rhodes, a sister-in-law and brother-in-law, Becky and Johnny Johnson along with numerous nieces and nephews and a plethora of friends.
Casket bearers will be: Eric Stewart, Kelly Sanders, Steve Stone, Joe Malarky, John Lowry, and Scott Stewart.
