Kathryn Nadine Atkinson, born October 31, 1958, in Monette, Arkansas, passed from this life on June 1, 2025, at the age of 67. She was preceded in death by her husband, James “Jim” Atkinson of Paris, Texas; her father, Charles “Chuck” Hardy and stepmom, Betty Hardy of Paris, Texas.
She leaves behind her daughter, Tonya Freelen and husband, Chris of Paris; her son, Jonathan Atkinson of Paris; mother, Nadine Hiser and husband, Ray of Leachville, AR; 2 brothers, Sam Hiser and wife, Tammie and Elvis Baxley and wife, Tonya of Bono, AR; 4 sisters, Theresa Taylor and husband, Tracy of Hornersville, MO, Tammy Prince ands husband, Mike of Marmaduke, AR, Vicky Hardy of Paris, TX, Tammy Leffel of Paris, TX as well as 3 grandkids, and 3 great-grandkids; a host of nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews.
She worked at Paris Industries for a number of years. She loved listening to her husband sing and play music. She was a member of the Eagles Lodge for many years. She loved being with her family and grandkids.
There will be a memorial service this Saturday, June 21, 2025 at 12:00 PM at the Living Word Pentecostal Church. Pastor Tiny Freelen will officiate.
