National Education Association’s (NEA’s) Read Across America Week is a nationwide reading celebration that takes place annually in the first week of March.
Across the country, thousands of schools and libraries participate by bringing together kids, families, and books. Justiss Elementary hosted a bookmark contest where students were asked to create their own bookmarks to use while they were reading. Winners were chosen from each grade level based on the student’s artistic detail and creative reading theme.
