Juanita Summers, age 88, passed away peacefully on June 27, 2026, in Fort Worth, TX.
A funeral service has been set for Saturday, July 11, 2026 at 10:00 AM at Fry-Gibbs Funeral Home. Interment will follow at Evergreen Cemetery. No formal visitation has been set.
She grew up in Paris, TX. Juanita was the perfect blend of sweetness and strength. She was a strong person who dedicated her life to watching out for others. Her greatest joy was always her children and grandchildren.
Juanita is survived by her brothers Henry Lee and Joe, sons Randy and Gary (Tracy); her daughters Cathy and Kim (Steve); her grandchildren Kaci (Andrew), Justin (Tomica), Kaitlyn (Jeremy), Brianna, and Brandon. She also leaves behind many other family members and special friends who love her.
She is predeceased by her parents Pete and Macel Smith; her sisters Ola Faye, Wanda, Wilma, and Gladys; and others who were there to celebrate her arrival into heaven.
Juanita (AKA Mom and Nana) will be greatly missed and cherished.
