Jerry Lee Allen, born December 21, 1958, passed away on March 14, 2026. Jerry was preceded in death by his father, Elmer Lee Allen. He was a beloved father, grandfather, son, brother, and uncle who loved his family with his whole heart. Jerry was known for his quick wit and warm personality. He was often the first to tell a joke and always enjoyed making people laugh. His humor and kind spirit brought joy to those around him and will be remembered by everyone who knew him. He proudly served his community as a firefighter with the Paris Fire Department for more than 20 years. During that time, he also worked in construction and later became a skilled millwright, dedicating his life to hard work and to providing for his family. Jerry is survived by his wife, Connie Allen; his son, Justin Allen and wife Rebecah, and their daughter, Adalynn Allen; and his daughter, Crystal Allen, and her children, Corbin Garnish and Cerentiy Allen. He is also survived by his mother, Judy Allen; his brother, Eddie Allen and wife Janell; and his sisters, Cathy Woodrow and husband Woody, and Sherri Coker and husband Phillip. Jerry leaves behind many nieces and nephews who loved him dearly, including Melissa Allen, Ethan Allen, Cari Freelen, Leia Allen, Luke Woodrow, Avie Woodrow, Phillip Coker, and Laci Coker, along with many extended family members and friends who will cherish his memory. Jerry will be deeply missed but lovingly remembered forever by all who knew and loved him. The family would like to express their sincere appreciation to all those who provided care to Jerry, including but not limited to Paris EMS, the Paris Fire Department, and the physicians and staff of the Paris Regional Health Emergency Department and ICU.
