James Reed Norris was born in Roxton, Texas on October 13, 1951. He passed away in Paris, Texas on September 7, 2025.
A family-led memorial service will be held Saturday, September 13, 2025 at 4:00 PM at Rocky Ford Baptist Church in Roxton.
Mr. Norris was preceded in death by his parents, Rosa Lee Norris Reed and Andrew Reed; sisters, Mildred McKinney and Corine Reed; brothers, Henry Reed, Andrew Reed, and Billie Reed; and son, Cedric Norris.
He is survived by his daughters, Deidri Norris, Koleen Norris and Margo Norris; grandchildren, DeMarqucie Norris, Kenyler Norris, Tiddaryl Norris, Reginald Young, Jr; sister, Bessie Baker; brother, Isaih Norris, and many nieces, nephews and great-grandchildren.
