Jackie Griffin Babb, 66 of Paris was welcomed home by Jesus on Tuesday June 18th, 2024.
A celebration of life will be held at 11:00 AM on Saturday, July13, 2024 at Southside Baptist Church recreation center located at 790 Old Jefferson Road in Paris. Please join the family in celebrating a life that touched so many lives, and listen to all the memories we hold dear to our hearts.
Jackie was born in Paris, Texas on September 28th, 1957 to parents John Ferd and Hazel Babb. Jackie attended North Lamar and was known to be the jack of all trades. Throughout the years, his most proud employment was with Hicks Muffler, B&W, and Flex-o-lite. Jackie was well known for his big smile and warm hugs. When Jackie Babb was in the room, everyone knew it. He was always willing to lend a helping hand and could fix about anything he put his hands on. His best days were spent fishing at Lake Crook with his best dog, Gunner. He was loved by many and his smile will be missed by most.
He is survived by his children, Heath Babb and wife Ashley, Jared Babb (Babbo), Savannah Plott and husband Josh, Brandy Bowerman and husband Louis, and Dustin Bangs; grandchildren Jagger, Bentley & Moxon Babb, Ryker Paul Plott, Tayla Niblett, Trace Bowerman, and Paisley Bangs, Lilian Babb; 1 great-grandchild; Conlee Niblett; siblings, Kathy Magnuson and husband Haston, Connie Hughes and husband Jerry, Ronnie Babb and wife Brenda, Becky Allen; sister-in-law, Gayla Babb; several nieces, nephews and friends including his special niece, Carrie who he referred to as Milkwomen.
He was preceded in death by parents, John Ferd and Hazel Babb; sister, Nancy Blalock; and brother, Bill Babb.
