Jack Rosson Rater, 68, of Reno, passed away Monday, Sept. 11, 2023, at Paris Regional Health.
Bright-Holland Funeral Home has scheduled graveside services for 2:00 p.m. Monday, Sept. 18th at Union Grove Cemetery with Father Raymundo Garcia officiating.
Jack, the son of John O. Rater & Ahmoy Dell Rosson Rater, was born July 30, 1955, in Paris.
He graduated from Prairiland High School and went on to have a career with the City of Paris that spanned many years before his retirement. Jack was a member of Our Lady of Victory Catholic Church.
His parents preceded him in death.
Survivors include three children, Davie Rater, Elijah Rater & wife Leighandra, and Jedidiah Rater, four grandchildren, Aulen, Theodore, Segun, and Zara Lee, a brother, Bob Rater & wife Leslie and two nephews, Jeremiah Rater and Orrin Rater along with a host of friends.
