An investigation is underway after the Paris City Council Chambers were vandalized early Monday morning.
According to reports, around 1 a.m. a witness advised that he had been driving by and seen a suspect throwing bricks at the windows.
The caller gave a basic description of the suspect, who was last seen walking south from the area of the 100 block of E Kaufman.
Paris police officers discovered that several windows were broken and located a rock inside the building.
The building was checked and cleared for suspects.
Officers noted that a total of 6 large windows were broken on the south side of city hall and the incident is under investigation by Paris Police Criminal Investigators.
