The INK’D Society Tattoo Expo kicks off tomorrow at the Love Civic Center — bringing together more than 50 talented artists from northeast Texas and southeast Oklahoma.
Artists will be competing for awards in a variety of categories, including best color, most realistic, best floral, most unusual, best portrait, and more.
Everyone who purchases a day-pass to the expo will be entered into a drawing to win a $200 tattoo. There will be two $200 tattoos given away each day at the expo.
A single day pass is $20 and weekend pass is $45. Children 14 and under get in free.
The expo schedule is as follows:
Friday, Aug. 15 — doors open at 11:30 a.m. with judging of the free for all and show categories taking place beginning at 7 p.m. Doors close at 10 p.m.
Saturday, Aug. 16 — doors open at 11 a.m. with judging of free for all categories starting at 6 p.m. followed by the show category. Doors close at 10 p.m.
Sunday, Aug. 17 — doors open at 10 a.m. with judging of free for all starting at 5 p.m. followed by the show categories. Doors close at 10 p.m.
