Whether or not you know who Lucy Ball is, there’s a good chance that her wacky sense of humor has snuck into your life at one point or another.

Ball, alongside her husband Desi Arnaz, had audiences in fits of laughter during their sitcom, “I Love Lucy” which aired between 1951-1957.

The dynamic duo took to the small screen where Cuban Bandleader Ricky Ricardo (Arnaz) would be happy if his wife Lucy (Ball) would just be a housewife. Instead, she tries constantly to perform at the Tropicana where he works and make life comically frantic in the apartment building they share with landlords Fred and Ethel Mertz.

Now locals get the chance to relive, or experience, the comedic stylings from the popular television show Aug 6, at Movies 8 Paris located at 1225 NE Loop 286 in Paris.

“Fathom Events and CBS will present five uncut, full-length colorized episodes on Lucille Ball’s birthday, August 6, plus REDHEAD TALES – a newly produced and never-before-seen featurette on the colorization of I Love Lucy, and an exclusive mini-poster,” as stated on Fathom events website page.

The special two-hour screening kicks off a 7 p.m.

“I’m happy that I have brought laughter because I have been shown by many the value of it in so many lives, in so many ways.” – Lucille Ball
