This week, Melissa Gordon, Pre-Con Management with Harrison Walker & Harper, came to Paris High School to speak to Mrs. Cook’s and Mrs. Pedersen’s Commercial Photography & Film classes. The classes learned about what photography, (both drone and on ground, as well as film) looks like in the construction industry. Mrs. Gordon spoke about qualifications for the industry and how important that classes at PHS in CTE are in impacting the workforce. The students also enjoyed a Q&A after where Mrs. Gordon gave out gift cards out for the engagement. HWH built the PHS CTE building back in 2018 and it was beneficial for the students to learn about how their role in Visual Media is used in every career, including construction.
