Last month, two clients of the New Hope Center of Paris had their bicycles stolen.

“We worked with the Paris Police Department in reporting the crime as well as turning over the security footage,” said New Hope Center executive director Tanteta Scott.

The security footage enabled the police department to identify and capture the offenders, however, only one of the bikes was able to be returned.

Hearing the news that one client was left without a bike, Natashia Brewer along with Brad and Ashley Hilliard stepped up to change the outcome for Stacie.

“A special thank you goes out to all of you for making something tragic has a positive outcome,” said Scott, “Stacie was presented with a new bike from Cycle Works Paris.”

Scott said they also want to thank the anonymous individual who donated children bikes and replaced those that were stolen from the center as well.
