Glenn Murray Aubrey, 68, of Paris, passed away Saturday, December 23, 2023, at his home.
Services are scheduled for 10:00 a.m. Wednesday, Dec. 27th at Bright-Holland Funeral Home with Janet Driver Aubrey officiating. Private burial will be made in Clarksville Cemetery.
Glenn, the son of Murray Aubrey & Lucy Grady Aubrey, was born Jan. 28, 1955, in Clarksville, Texas.
He graduated from Clarksville High School, and received his degree in Agriculture from Texas A&M University – College Station in 1976. Glenn attended the annual Aggie Muster every April 21st, as often as possible, to honor fallen Aggies from the previous year.
His career spanned a number of years as county agent for Lamar County and Upshur County. Later he did ranch management and was an independent soil consultant.
Glenn was of the Christian Faith and was reared in the Clarksville Presbyterian Church.
He was preceded in death by his parents, a brother, Eddie Aubrey, a brother-in-law, Carroll Ray Jeans, a nephew, Brian Jeans, an aunt, Bessie Grady, and an uncle, Roger Grady.
Survivors include his wife, Janet Driver Aubrey, whom he married on March 6, 1982, building forty-one years of family and memories, two sons, Richard Aubrey and Justin Aubrey, two grandchildren, Juliana Aubrey and Luke Aubrey, two sisters, Barbara Jeans and Annette Ruschhaupt & husband Glen, and several nieces & nephews along with a host of friends.
