GameStop will close its doors in Paris this week on Jan. 7, and is referring customers to its neatest location in Mount Pleasant.
The Paris store is just one of dozens expected to close this week as the company seeks to cut costs amid the shift to digital gaming, declining physical sales, and the need to optimize underperforming locations.
Before the video game retailer bids farewell, there will be a Pokemon Trade & Play event at the store on Jan. 7 from 3-7 p.m.
GameStop is location at 3842 Lamar Avenue in Paris.
