The Paris Fire Department was called to the 100 block of 33rd NW St., for a structure fire shortly before 1:30 a.m. this morning.
B-Shift Deputy Fire Chief William McDowall said that the home was vacant due to undergoing renovations.
“We saw widespread smoke damage and moderate fire damage throughout the structure,” he added.
McDowall said it took firefighters around 20 min., to gain full control over the blaze. The City Fire Marshal was called to investigate the incident and determine an official cause.
