Pickle lovers rejoice…you can now enjoy your pickle juice straight from the can without having to worry about leaving enough brine in the jar for your other pickles.
Pickle company Gordy’s recently launched “Fine Brine” canned pickle juice, which it markets as a drink ingredient, with “for cocktails” displayed prominently on the label.
However, just because the cans are marketed as a cocktail ingredient doesn’t mean they have to be enjoyed as such. There’s no need to feel any shame in cracking open a cold can of pickle juice.
“Perfect balance of salty, tangy, and sweet — this bright ingredient is a great addition to your next cocktail. Best served cold,” the website describes their product
Pickle juice is usually added to alcoholic drinks to mask or enhance the flavors of hard liquors such as whiskey, vodka, and tequila.
Gordy’s Pickle Jar is selling four 12oz cans for $16 on their website, however, they are temporarily sold out.
