Mrs. Felicia Montgomery Cleburn was born at Reeves County Memorial Hospital in Pecos, TX, to the parents of Louis Jackson and Elnora Nixon Montgomery. She was active in High School media and had a genuine joy for life. She attended and graduated from Pecos High School. Following in her big brothers (John) foot steps, she attended and graduated from the University of North Texas with a double major in Radio / Television / Film and Psychology. Felicia was known for sharp tact, witty ways and shooting straight from the hip. Shortly after graduation, she met and fell in love, and married Michael “Shane” Cleburn on December 23, 2000. They made their home in Blossom, TX.
Being a preacher’s daughter and the youngest of eight children, Felicia was solidly grounded in her spirituality and in Jesus Christ. She is preceded in death by her parents, her mother-in-law Nancy Jean, her brother-in-law, Bert and her nieces Katrina Michelle Bell and Teresa Nicole Montgomery.
She is survived by her husband, father-in-law Mike Thomas Cleburn, sisters Tina Montgomery, of Carrollton, TX (Greg); Anita Bell, of Allen, TX; Alicia Johnson, (Billy), of Midland, TX; brothers David Montgomery, (Peggy), of Firestone, CO; Victor Montgomery, (Leah), of Salina, KS; James “Douglas” Montgomery, (Lorena), of Pecos, Texas; and John Montgomery, (Rhonda), of Allen, TX. She is also survived by her sister-in-law, Kary Cleburn, a host of nieces, nephews, and other relatives and friends.
Graveside services will be conducted at 2:00 PM Tuesday December 22, 2020 in the Springhill Cemetery.
