FedEx Express says it plans to “take the appropriate steps” after an employee with its company was caught on camera tossing a customer’s package Monday afternoon in Paris.
“The behavior depicted in the video is unacceptable and inconsistent with the professionalism FedEx Express couriers demonstrate every day in safely and securely delivering millions of packages to our customers,” a representative with FedEx said. “We are committed to treating our customers’ shipments with the utmost care and will take the appropriate steps to address this matter.”
Monday afternoon, a customer captured on their security system a FedEx employee throw their package about 10-15 feet.
Chad Liesman, the Paris local who received the tossed packaged said it was simply flip flops, “but at the end of the day, he didn’t know that.
“I was very, very surprised at what he did,” Liesman said. “He could have easily walked like 10 more feet, instead of throwing the package.”
