The Faught Volunteer Fire Department is getting ready for their annual fundraiser, ‘Pancake Days.’

Volunteers will be serving up an “all-you-can-eat breakfast” consisting of bacon, sausage, pancakes, milk, orange juice, and coffee.

The fundraiser is the only event the volunteer department hosts each year which raises funds for operating costs.

“This is our one and only fundraiser for the year and provides us with operating expenses throughout the year,” said Faught VFD Captain Tyler Browning. “This is it…this is how we survive.”

Those operating costs include everything from putting fuel in the trucks to buying hoses and gear.

In 2018, Faught VFD fed over 1,000 people and expect even more to attend the event this year.

Tickets are $8 at the door and kids 6 and under eat FREE.

Doors are open from 6 a.m. till 12 p.m. at Faught VFD located at 197 CR 43420, Paris, Texas, 75462.
