After a lifetime of friendship and love, Fannie Chaffin departed this world, leaving behind a legacy and a family that will truly miss her.

Fannie was married to Leroy on October 16, 1937, and last year on their anniversary, they were celebrated as Texas’ longest married couple, third-longest in the nation.

Fannie Lorene Sanders Chaffin was born in Ashdown, Arkansas, in 1922 and was the largest Avon rep in the area for 10-years, as well as being a nurse’s aide at Cherry St Manor.

She was a proud mother of six children and grandmother to more than 200 grand- and great-grandchildren, spanning more than six generations.

Surrounded by family, Fannie passed with love and admiration for her most adventurous life. A life that saw love, laughter, determination, and living each moment to its fullest.

Bright-Holland Funeral Home will arrange funeral services.
